The variety is traditional, not a hybrid. It belongs to the mid-early maturity group. Due to slow development in the autumn period, the variety is well adapted to early sowing dates.
The plants are of a short-stature type with a height in the range of 134–147 cm. The variety has a stiff stem and high lodging resistance. The oil content in the seeds is about 45%.
A key characteristic is the presence of genetic resistance to Turnip yellows virus (TuYV) along with resistance to the main diseases of the crop.
