The hybrid is characterized by a moderate plant height within the range of 145–151 cm and high stem rigidity. The seeds are distinguished by a low glucosinolate content, less than 15–16 µmol/g.
The plant possesses vigorous initial growth energy and intensive development of the root system in the autumn period. The hybrid is plastic to sowing dates and maintains productivity at low plant densities.
Aurelia is resistant to pod shattering due to POSH technology. It has high tolerance to Verticillium wilt, Cylindrosporium, and light leaf spot, and also contains the Rlm7 Phoma resistance gene.
