Winter rapeseed Axel is intended for use as an intermediate crop for green manure or forage purposes. It is characterized by medium flowering times, low to medium susceptibility to winterkill, and a very low content of glucosinolates and erucic acid.
Spring hybrid Axel is early-maturing, with a growing season of about 95 days and a plant height of 160–175 cm. It is intended for classical cultivation technology, has a seed oil content of about 49.4%, and high resistance to lodging, pod shattering, phoma stem canker, and sclerotinia.
