ActiveBrassica napus var. napus · Rapeseed
Pioneer Overseas Corporation US (USA)
10 August 2026
The variety is intended for regions with a temperate climate and stressful growing conditions. It belongs to the oilseed rape (canola) type and was bred to provide an alternative to hybrid varieties.
The plant has very early flowering dates, which allows it to successfully complete the vegetation period under conditions of spring moisture deficit. The variety shows resistance to Phoma, the degree of which depends on the application of fungicides.
The seed quality of the variety regarding oil content is comparable to other common varieties of the same type. Breeding was carried out taking into account parameters of lodging resistance and pod shattering resistance, with a priority on yield in difficult conditions.
