The variety belongs to the mid-ripening group and was created using hybridization and selection methods. The purpose of the crop is universal: seeds are used for the production of oil for food purposes, processing into biofuel, and also for obtaining meal for livestock needs.
The plant possesses increased resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, as well as high winter hardiness. The recommended sowing period falls within the second to third ten-day period of August with a seeding rate of 4–5 kg/ha.
