The Exocet hybrid appeared in variety trial reports in Germany in the period around 2005–2010. In the documentation of that time, the variety was often used as a control sample when assessing plant resistance to the disease Phoma lingam.
Detailed modern agronomic characteristics, such as plant height or maturity group, are not provided in current reference books, as the hybrid is considered obsolete and is no longer in active sale.
