The Flash hybrid is a winter oilseed rape. During comparative trials conducted in the early 2000s, this variety was used as a control sample for evaluating productivity and agronomic qualities.
Studies revealed that the Flash variety has increased tolerance to certain strains of the soil-borne pathogen Rhizoctonia solani, which is the causative agent of root rot and seedling damping-off in oilseed rape.
