The winter rapeseed variety Freya is an oilseed crop, information about which is mainly contained in registration lists from the early 2000s. At the present time, detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and its productivity indicators are absent from open publications.
The variety was removed from a number of variety lists, including Estonia, at the breeder's request. Mentions in later German variety lists do not indicate the current commercial distribution of this variety.
