The Hamour variety belongs to the winter rapeseed type and is classified as a hybrid. The crop is grown for oil production and is included in agricultural trials for oilseed plants.
During agrotechnical studies, the variety was evaluated for resistance to Verticillium wilt caused by the pathogen Verticillium longisporum. Under field trial conditions with insufficient stand density, the variety may show a tendency toward lodging.
