The variety is a winter oilseed rape hybrid included in the INV breeding line of BASF. In official documents, including the registers of the German Federal Plant Variety Office, it is classified as a hybrid variety.
Plants of this series are characterized by high yield, lodging resistance, increased oil content, and disease resistance, in particular to phoma stem canker, due to the presence of the Rlm7 gene. The variety is intended for use on an industrial scale using intensive agricultural technologies.
