The winter rapeseed variety Krypton, bred by KWS, was officially included in the lists of the Federal Plant Variety Office of Germany in 2010. In the documentation, it is noted as a variety intended for use as green manure or fodder.
This variety should not be confused with the winter rapeseed hybrid Krypto CL, intended for the Clearfield technology, nor with the grapevine variety of the same name. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as morphology or disease resistance indicators, are absent in open publications.
