Brassica napus var. napus Rapeseed · Agricultural · bred by Gertz Andreas

Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has a medium to medium-high height and good growth energy in the autumn and spring periods. Early start of flowering contributes to reducing the risk of damage by the pollen beetle. The variety possesses high resistance to lodging and pod shattering, which prevents seed shedding.

The hybrid is characterized by low glucosinolate content and high oil yield. InsectPROTECT technology provides tolerance to damage by cabbage stem weevil larvae. Genetic resistance to Phoma stem canker is present, while data on resistance to turnip yellows virus are contradictory.

The variety is intended for oilseed production using classical cultivation technology. It is adapted to various soil types and is suitable for medium and late sowing dates.
