The first-generation hybrid KWS Cyrill CL is a mid-early variety with a plant height of 135–160 cm. It is distinguished by strong lateral branching, early flowering, and a lower branch attachment height of approximately 24 cm.
The variety possesses high resistance to phoma stem canker due to the RLM 7 gene, as well as lodging resistance and tolerance to high soil boron content. It shows medium resistance to diseases such as alternaria, verticillium wilt, and white spot.
The yield potential of the hybrid exceeds 55–60 c/ha with an oil content of more than 45%. The thousand kernel weight is 3.8 to 5.6 g, and the glucosinolate content is at the level of 17–18 µmol/g.
