KWS Heikos is a winter oilseed rape hybrid intended for seed cultivation. The plants are characterized by a relatively high stature and variability in the rates of autumn development.
The hybrid possesses resistance to lodging and pod shattering. Regarding diseases, the variety shows resistance to phoma stem canker, including the presence of the RLM7 gene, tolerance to turnip yellows virus and verticillium wilt, as well as low susceptibility to alternaria.
The variety demonstrates high oil content in seeds. Winter hardiness indicators are characterized as good, and the hybrid is regularly included in variety trials in Northern European countries.
