The winter oilseed rape hybrid LG Atom is characterized by high resistance to pod shattering. An important feature of the plant is the presence of genetic resistance to turnip yellows virus (TuYV).
The breeding of the variety includes tolerance to pest damage; in particular, resistance to the cabbage stem flea beetle has been noted.
