NK Oktan oilseed rape belongs to the intensive type hybrids, responsive to soil fertility and agricultural practices. Plant height is 160–170 cm. The hybrid possesses high lodging resistance and tolerance to Phoma.
The erucic acid content in the oil is 0%, the glucosinolate level is low. The purpose of the variety is use as an oilseed crop for producing technical and food-grade oil.
When cultivating, it is recommended to adhere to optimal sowing dates. Planting density at harvest time is from 30–35 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture to 40–45 thousand plants under insufficient moisture.
