The variety belongs to the HEAR (High Erucic Acid Rapeseed) group; the erucic acid content in its oil is about 50–55%. Due to the specific composition of the oil, the variety is grown under contract for industrial needs, including the manufacture of erucamide, printing inks, and high-temperature lubricants.
The plant has good resistance to light leaf spot and phoma stem canker. Agronomically, the variety is characterized as reliable, with high oil content, although its yield is somewhat lower than that of modern high-yielding "00" oilseed rape hybrids.
