The variety was obtained as a result of crossing using resynthesized rapeseed, which was used to create new genetic resources. It belongs to the breeding material of past decades and does not meet modern quality requirements for erucic acid and glucosinolate content.
During studies in 1970–1972, the variety was tested for resistance to the pathogen Verticillium dahliae, where it demonstrated a certain level of infection comparable to other varieties of that period.
