The winter oilseed rape variety NK Pegaz is a commercial product of the Syngenta breeding program. During state trials in Poland, the variety participated in analyses evaluating yield and seed oil content, serving as a reference object among other hybrids and population varieties.
In agricultural publications, the name Pegaz is also encountered as a pea variety, which creates a possibility of confusion when searching for information. The variety with the full name NK Pegaz underwent state evaluation with the participation of research institutes, however, it is not a product of their original breeding.
