The variety belongs to the early-maturing group and is historically known as one of the first "canola"-type varieties with a low erucic acid content, which increased the nutritional value of the oil and meal obtained from it. Over time, the characteristics of the variety, in particular the level of erucic acid, could become unstable.
The plant is susceptible to Phoma lingam, which was one of the reasons for its gradual replacement with more advanced varieties in agricultural production.
