The variety is a hybrid developed for cultivation as an oilseed crop. The plant has the distinct feature of accelerated root system formation at the rosette stage, which contributes to more efficient nitrogen uptake from the soil.

During field trials conducted in the mid-1990s, the successful use of the hybrid as an alternative to traditional varieties was confirmed provided that proper agricultural practices were followed. Quantitative indicators of productivity, oil content, and disease resistance are absent in the available materials.
