The variety belongs to the overwintering category and is part of the Walcheren Winter group. The plant is transplanted in July or August for overwintering in the soil, which allows for a harvest of heads in April.

The variety possesses the frost resistance necessary for overwintering in mild climate conditions. It forms dense heads of deep white color.

For cultivation, both direct sowing into open field and transplanting are suitable. Despite its frost resistance, it is recommended to use covering material or agro-textile during the winter period.
