The variety is mentioned in agronomic reports and vegetable crop variety lists of the 1970s and 1980s. In scientific literature, it is more often encountered under the name Alpha Cliro.

Researchers used this variety to study the developmental physiology of cauliflower, in particular to determine the number of leaves prior to curd initiation, designated as the end of the juvenile phase. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as height or disease resistance, are not recorded.
