The “Erfurti” (Erfurt) cultivar group has been known since the 19th century and represents a group of breeding lines originating from Mediterranean samples. The period from transplanting to technical maturity ranges from 60 to 120 days, depending on the specific line.

Plants form rounded, dense heads of white or creamy-white color weighing 1–2 kg. The variety possesses resistance to bacteriosis and good ability of the leaves to cover the inflorescence. The produce is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, freezing, and canning.
