The Herslo F1 variety is a cauliflower hybrid characterized by the absence of cell fusion technologies in its breeding. This feature makes it permissible for use in organic farming.

The variety was included in the Common Catalogue of Varieties of Agricultural Plant Species of the European Union. In a number of specialized publications of a later period, there is information about the exclusion of this hybrid from certain variety lists.
