The variety «Lindon» is used in international UPOV guidelines as a reference sample for conducting tests for distinctness, uniformity, and stability. Morphologically, the variety is characterized by medium leaf width.

Based on the results of field trials, the variety is classified as late. The period until reaching 50% harvest maturity is about 78 days, with the duration of the vegetation period being influenced by the weather conditions of the year.
