The variety belongs to early summer crops. It is characterized by a transition to the inflorescence formation stage after the initiation of 13–15 leaves. Temperature thresholds for inflorescence induction have been established: the lower limit is 2.2°C, the optimum is 9.4°C, and the upper limit is 24°C.

In agronomic studies, the variety is characterized as having moderate resistance to downy mildew. Historically, it has been used primarily as a control sample in international scientific work on growth physiology, rather than as a mass commercial hybrid.
