The Ruby Ball hybrid matures 65–90 days after transplanting. The plants have an upright habit, and the heads are characterized by compactness, high uniformity, and excellent internal structure quality.
The variety possesses resistance to black rot and tolerates high and low temperatures well. The heads do not crack for a long time while on the root, which allows for flexible harvest timing from autumn through winter.
The produce is intended for sale on the fresh market, use in salads, and processing, particularly pickling. Due to its compactness, the hybrid is suitable for high-density planting schemes.
