Wädenswil plants are vigorous and reach a height of about 60 cm. The variety forms large round and dense heads with a fine leaf structure, which have a grayish-blue tint due to the presence of a waxy bloom.
The variety possesses good taste qualities and is considered resistant. When cultivating, protection against Alternaria and bacterial rots is recommended. The produce is suitable for storage until the end of March and is traditionally used for making sauerkraut.
