The variety was obtained as a result of a breeding program that included line selection and six cycles of self-pollination to fix traits. The plant is characterized by a lacy leaf appearance, which retains a narrow shape during regrowth, as well as stronger and meatier stems compared to standard varieties.
The variety's produce is characterized by uniformity, which makes it suitable for use in salad mixes. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation and baby leaf production.
