The flowers of the variety have an amethyst-pink or violet color with a characteristic dark stripe along the central vein. The plant has linear green foliage and reaches a height of 35 to 80 cm. The flowering period occurs from May to July.
The variety is used in landscape design for flower beds and borders, and is also grown in containers and for cutting. The plant prefers sunny or partially shaded areas with well-drained soil, is resistant to diseases and pests, and is adapted to hardiness zones 6–9.
