The variety is an oilseed crop whose seeds are a source of calendic acid used in the production of paints, varnishes, and cosmetic materials. The plant is adapted to a temperate climate; the optimal temperature for seed germination is 16–17 °C. The variety is responsive to early sowing dates, which contributes to increased yield.

The period from sowing to the 50% flowering phase lasts 52–59 days, and to harvest — 103–115 days. Seed yield is 1166–1839 kg/ha with a nitrogen fertilizer application rate of approximately 50 kg/ha.
