The variety was obtained through crossing and selection of breeding lines. Narrow acute leaf tip shape and flower throat color corresponding to code 45A on the color scale were recorded as distinctive morphological traits.

Data on maturity group, plant height, resistance to diseases and lodging are absent. In official documents, the variety is classified as an ornamental flowering plant and has no relation to the names seaside petunia or wild petunia.
