The plant has an upright habit and differs from a number of other varieties by greater height and length of shoots. The foliage is medium-green, narrow-oval in shape or with a broad acute tip; variegation is absent.

The flowers are single and large. The color at opening is dark purple, at full bloom — dark purple with narrow stripes of a darker shade along the petals and a characteristic star-shaped area at the base. The inner side of the corolla tube is yellow.

The variety is intended for ornamental floriculture, suitable for cultivation in containers and hanging baskets.
