The plant is a perennial with a woody base, most often grown as an annual in cultivation. It is characterized by an ampelous or trailing growth habit, which allows the variety to be used for planting in hanging baskets and containers.

The flowers are simple, tubular, and resemble a petunia in shape but are smaller in size, averaging 2.5–3 cm. The variety is intended for decorative landscaping of terraces, balconies, and the creation of container arrangements.
