The variety KLEC00070, known under the trade name Selecta Dark Blue, was obtained through controlled pollination of the maternal line Carillon Blue and the paternal line Sunbelkubu (Trailing Blue).

The plant has an upright trailing growth habit. The flowers are colored purple-violet, corresponding to shade 82A according to the RHS classification. The shape of the leaf blade apex varies from narrow acute to broad acute.

The variety is propagated vegetatively (by cuttings) and is used as a decorative crop for placement in containers and hanging baskets.
