The variety is a form of Campanula tubulosa selected to improve ornamental characteristics. Breeding work was aimed at obtaining a stable plant form, distinct flower coloration, and increasing the quality of produce suitable for pot production.
The initial material for developing the variety was obtained through the selection of seedlings from botanical collections. The breeding program also included methods of vegetative propagation of the highest quality specimens to ensure the stability of varietal traits.
