The plant belongs to compact or medium-tall varieties, reaching a height from 70–80 cm to 120–150 cm depending on conditions. The leaves are large, bright green in color, and elongated in shape.
Flowers of a saturated pink-red or cherry-red shade are gathered in inflorescences rising above the foliage. The flowering period continues from the end of spring or early summer until the first autumn frosts.
