The CS (Carmagnola Selezionata) variety is dioecious and is traditionally grown for biomass and fiber production. During comparative agronomic trials, the variety demonstrated one of the highest stem yield indicators among the tested samples.

The plant belongs to industrial hemp varieties with low THC content, compliant with EU regulations. The genetic characteristics of the variety influence the cannabinoid synthesis pathway, which contributes to increased cannabigerol accumulation, representing an interest for pharmaceutical purposes.
