The hybrid is used exclusively as a rootstock for grafting. Its use ensures high growth vigor and plant viability throughout the entire season, including periods with low temperatures.
The plant possesses high tolerance to soil-borne pathogens, in particular to Phytophthora blight (Phytophthora capsici), as well as resistance to Pepper mild mottle virus (PMMV).
The rootstock is not intended for cultivation for fruit production. Agricultural practice involves sowing rootstock seeds simultaneously with the scion for their subsequent grafting.
