The variety Gorogled 6 belongs to the group of peppers for obtaining pigmented powder and oleoresins. The plant is characterized by high vigor and an indeterminate growth type. The variety has historically been used as a control sample or a parental line in breeding programs.
This variety shows a high degree of resistance to Verticillium wilt, without displaying symptoms of the disease. The fruits are used as raw material for paprika production. When grown, planting patterns with 60 cm row spacing and 15–25 cm distance between plants in the row are used.
In comparative studies, it is noted that the fruit harvesting process for this variety may be more labor-intensive compared to some modern forms. In terms of dry matter content and pigment yield, the variety may be inferior to newer breeding achievements.
