Ostry F1 is a medium-tall plant with a semi-erect branchinghabit. The fruits are conical in shape, reaching 13–15 cm in length and about 7 cm in width, with a wall thickness of about 4 mm. The fruit surface is slightly wrinkled, with a high gloss.
Fruit color at technical maturity is light green or light greenish-white, and red at biological maturity. Pungency is 400–600 SHU, with the heat predominantly concentrated in the seeds and placenta.
The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and canning; harvesting is possible at both stages of maturity.
