The variety belongs to the "Friariello" type, traditional to the Campania region. The plant is vigorous with dark leaves. The fruits have a conical pointed shape, their length is 10–15 cm, and the weight varies from 30 to 50 g.
At technical maturity, the fruits are light green; at biological maturity, they are bright red. The walls are thin, about 2 mm, the number of locules is 2–3. The taste of the fruits is sweet, they are suitable for frying.
