The plant has vigorous, continuous growth and a tendency to form long internodes, resulting in a large volume. The primary branches are rather weak, so the variety requires mandatory support. The leaves are narrow and long, with a standard green color.
The fruits have a conical shape with a pointed tip, reaching 12–14 cm in length. At technical maturity, they are green; upon ripening, they turn light or dark red. The variety belongs to the hot type, but its level of pungency is lower than that of the Westlandse Lange Rode variety.
The variety is suitable for early cultivation, "cold" greenhouses without heating, and autumn crop cycles. It is used as a hot pepper or as a pepper for preparing condiments.
