Variety description

Perennial evergreen herbaceous plant with arcuately curved leaves approximately 1.2 cm wide. Foliage color is silvery-bluish-green, becoming more pronounced in sunlight. The plant forms compact, slowly spreading clumps 15–30 cm in height and 30–50 cm in width.
In May-June, it forms inconspicuous cream-white or brownish spicate inflorescences. The variety prefers partial shade or diffused light, but tolerates deep shade, grows well on moist, humus-rich soils, and possesses relative drought tolerance once established.
