Plants of the Bombay series are annual tall crops reaching a height of 70–100 cm. The inflorescences have a dense crested shape resembling a cockscomb, and the leaves are ovate with a pointed tip. The Bombay Salmon variety is characterized by a specific salmon color of the inflorescences.
This variety belongs to single-stem cut flower Celosias, which requires the use of dense planting schemes. Plants are thermophilic, prefer sunny areas with well-drained soil, and are sensitive to moisture stagnation, which can lead to fungal diseases.
