Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has a bush-like form and lanceolate, often slightly wavy leaves. The main decorative feature is the bright orange petioles, which contrast with the dark green leaf blades. Unlike other Chlorophytum species, this variety does not form "babies" on runners. During flowering, the peduncle becomes dense and externally resembles a corn cob.

The variety is intended for interior landscaping and prefers diffused light or partial shade, while reacting negatively to direct sunlight. The plant is sensitive to the irrigation regime and does not tolerate prolonged drying out of the substrate. In taxonomy, the variety is sometimes identified with Chlorophytum amaniense and confused with the trade name Fire Flash.
