The variety is a plant with white inflorescences. In the course of scientific experiments on radiation mutagenesis, it was established that this variety is capable of producing mutant forms characterized by altered inflorescence color, for example, yellow.

In agronomic literature and biotechnological publications, the variety is most often mentioned as starting material for laboratory research on somaclonal variation and cellular selection.
