The MILONKA variety was bred by exposure to X-ray radiation at a dose of 1.5–1.7 krad. The plant is frequently mentioned in scientific literature concerning the application of mutagenesis methods in work with vegetatively propagated ornamental crops.

Morphologically, the variety is characterized by white flowers. In experimental works, there are mentions of specimens with a height of 30 cm and 130 cm, which indicates the variability of growth forms. The variety is also used as an object in the study of entomological processes and the behavior of insect pests, in particular Spodoptera exigua.
