The variety has a semi-double type of inflorescence with a characteristic dark yellow color. The ray florets are convex in cross-section, and the disc florets are tubular. The base of the leaf blade is described as narrowly or broadly cuneate.

This variety was used as a standard for comparative testing and the description of other chrysanthemum varieties in registration databases.
